10 – Dividends
During
fiscal 2010, the Company commenced paying quarterly cash
dividends. The Company’s Board of Directors has
declared and paid nine consecutive quarterly cash dividends
of $0.05 per share since January 2010.
On
January 5, 2012, the Company’s Board of Directors
declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.05 per
share. The Company paid, from its cash on hand,
approximately $1.4 million pursuant to the dividend on
February 9, 2012 to stockholders of record as of February 1,
2012. The Company paid cash dividends of $2.8
million during each of the six months ended March 31, 2012
and 2011.
On
March 22, 2012, the Company’s Board of Directors
declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share, a 20%
increase over the previous quarterly dividend
rate. The Company will pay, from its cash on hand,
approximately $1.7 million pursuant to the dividend on May 9,
2012 to stockholders of record as of May 2, 2012.
